We are hoping that having a student organization in the city centre of Bergen that more students from the University will take the opportunity to go on an internship, since it will now be easier for UIB-students to get more information about the AIESEC internships. Today we have one UIB project team that consists of five students, where four of them are students from the University. AIESEC is the largest student-run organization in the world, and the goal with our project at UIB is that it will be easier for UIB-students to seek the international opportunities that AIESEC has to offer.
Opportunities for UiB students:
 Already this fall semester we are giving UIB-students the opportunity to travel on a 6-8 weeks internship in Africa. There will also be eight lucky applyers that will get the chance to travel with Fredskorpset on a 5 months internship. We are now in the establishment phase of the student organization at UIB, and we will have a recruitment round of new members in January.
