Being in AIESEC has made me become a better student

I stand out because I am a part of changing people’s lives. I make a difference in people’s lives while I am able to develop my leadership skills. I took the opportunity to lead the local committee in Trondheim and wouldn’t trade it for anything! I challenge myself every day and it makes me grow as a person.

During my time in AIESEC I have developed several useful skills. I have learned how to develop a work/life balance that fits for me. This is a skill I did not have before joining AIESEC. I have also learned how to manage a team and be more confident in myself and my decisions.

Being in AIESEC makes me more prepared for the future. Being able to develop my leadership skills during my study-time makes it easier for me to adapt to the business-life.AIESEC gives you the opportunity to be in all levels of an organization, which also is useful for future jobs.

My personal achievement would have to be learning how to juggle school, family, friends and AIESEC. Being in AIESEC has made me become a better student when it comes to effectiveness and also learning how to prioritize my daily tasks to make the most of every day.

If you want to do something else with your study-time, I highly recommend joining AIESEC. AIESEC is a part of a big international platform where you are able to develop your leadership skills and expand your personal and professional network with students all over the world!
