What I've learnt this recent year at NHH has all been very theoretical, so what makes our members different from the rest is that we get to try out what we learn, such as marketing, business, finance and organizing in a more practical matter. From being an AIESEC member you also get connections all over the world that will benefit you after graduation.

I think we are more prepared on the tasks we will be given in any kind of job we're getting after NHH. Through AIESEC we've already been trained how to to behave and talk in meetings, big crowds, sell a product or seal the deal with another company.

I think my personal achievement must have been just being a part of a team and see how things develop from the planning to seeing the results. Just sticking through the laughing, crying, bickering and joy to see so many going on exchange was a nice achievement. Also I've always thought that most Norwegians lack the international experience you get from being abroad for a longer period, and to see more and more from my generation actually taking the challenge to go abroad and out of their comfort zone, and then coming back with all these amazing experiences, memories and wisdom is amazing itself. Just because I feel like I've sent out a message they can bring further on.

Maybe you're wondering why you should do this and if you're ready to become a part of this huge international network, but why shouldn't you step up to the challenge? It's not about being the best in English, the most creative, the best seller or outgoing person, it's about learning, teamwork and reaching for the opportunities that are right in front of you.
