During the exchange: volunteer work
Buddy system
In addition to having a contact person in AIESEC Norway, each participant will get a buddy from AIESEC locally who will be their first friend when arriving to the host country. This person will pick you up by arrival, introduce you to the local culture and the work place and support you throughout the stay.
Local network
The local AIESEC chapters consists of students who are working voluntarily to support you in having the best experience you can get. One of the main benefits of having a local AIESEC office is the opportunity to integrate in their social network and participate in the activities they are running. This ensures a local network for the participants and a great possibility to really get to know the culture from the inside!
Fellow international volunteers Most of the volunteer projects have other AIESEC volunteers from all over world who are sharing the exact same experience as you. This is an opportunity to gain friends for life from various countries.
Positive contribution to the local community
Through the issue-based project, the volunteers from Norway are having an impact on the local community and the target groups of the project, such as children and youth in the society.
