Exchange Program Fee – what do you pay for?

Find below the break-down of the total cost - you need to pay a one-off fee of 4000 NOK.

You pay this online once you have been approved by our Local Committees. You will be responsible for obtaining your own visas and flights though AIESEC can support you on this if you need us to.

Remember that we will only accept you onto the program if we are confident that you will find a suitable internship on our database based on your skills as well as preferences.

AIESEC is a not-for-profit organization. This is the breakdown for what we do with your participation fee:

800 NOK – VAT
960 NOK – National office administrative costs. We have a full-time National Committee working in Oslo who manages AIESEC Norway and the Norwegian side of the global information system.
1920 NOK – Local Committee fee. This is what the Local Committees will receive. Each month, the Local Committees have high costs related to the affiliation to the global association and maintenance of information systems. As we are a not-for-profit organization, this is what ensures that there is a local AIESEC committee in place to facilitate the program. This item is also what ensures that we have enough money to re-invest in our operations and improve our projects.
320 NOK– Local Committee Reserve Fund. This fund is a long-term saving fund in order to ensure that we have the financial capacity to handle with unexpected financial difficulties and investments.
